Happy Saturday. I hope you are having a great weekend and are enjoying some down time. We don’t normally post on Saturday, but wanted to tell you about a few things, as this has been a pretty big week for us and for RefineUs.
First, our blog has a new look. We are really excited about the upgrade we made this week to Standard 3.0. It is fast, it is clean and hopefully it will make your experience on our site even better. If you are looking for a new theme for your blog, we can’t recommend it enough. A few things have moved around, and there is a new Activities Tab on the right so you can see recent posts, most commented posts and the most recent comments left on the site.
This week was a pretty big week for the Davis family. We have been working on our book for almost 2 years. God has been so good to us, but it has taken longer than we imagined. We are really excited about how it has turned out and are praying that it helps thousands of marriages go Beyond Ordinary!
On Monday night, Trish and I were sitting on the couch and I randomly typed in “Beyond Ordinary” into Amazon.com and our book popped up. We looked at each other, and then I refreshed the page IT WAS STILL THERE 
. Then we started high five-ing. It was like an out of body experience. We can’t thank you enough for your help in making our book a reality. You’re support of us, our story, this ministry and the vision we have to restore hope and renew relationships are at the heart of this book. So thank you.
A couple of things as it relates to the book. There is a new “Beyond Ordinary Book” link at the top of the page that explains more about the book, and gives an overview and the table of contents. We will probably be doing some promotional stuff and giving away some of the content of the book this fall, as well as explaining a little more about it in general, so be on the look out for that.
So…if you want to pre-order the book, that would be awesome. You can click on the cover of the book to the left and it will take you to Amazon, or you can click HERE as well. Even if you don’t buy the book, but want to help us, the best way to do that is to share it with your friends. You helping us get the word out would be huge! The book will release in January, so you will receive it the day it is released (if not a few days before). We can’t wait to share it with you guys!
Okay, finally, we are starting a new series next week called “Not on the Same Page”. We’ll be looking at the different ways that we can get on different pages with our spouse and what to do when that happens. No marriage is perfect, so there will be times that we just aren’t clicking…but we don’t have to stay there. We’ll be talking about that next week.
